When I first heard about All-Star Survivor, I just assumed that the episodes would be action packed and exciting. Cat fights galore. Well I was wrong. All the strategies of the All-Stars are the same: Don't be a leader, and don't get anyone mad, and fly under the radar. What does that mean for us faithful viewers? Bad Reality TV!
I just have to say that Richard Hatch was pretty funny. What a dumb ass! Or maybe not, the winners have a target on their back so maybe he was just waiting to be voted off. Doesn't sound like him does it? When he was on Pulau Tiga he had an alliance in the works by Day 3, on Day 3 in Panama, he was floating in the ocean. Hey I'm not criticizing, I'm just calling it like I see it.
I know there are a lot of Rupert fans out there, But I don't like him at all. He seems overconfident and that pisses me off. I really have no idea why he's so popular. Oh ya, I forgot, he's honest. *Eye Roll* In my opinion you can't be that honest and still win. But whatever it's not like I'm on the show. He can do whatever he wants. Just kidding. I'm sure he's a great person in real life, he just comes off really pompous on the show.
Rob M. is (slowly) becoming my favorite. On Marquesas he seemed like a chauvinistic jerk. He must have done his homework, on the second day he buddies up to Amber, the person most known for riding on other people's coattails. I like Rob's style of play. I don't like Amber's. I guess you need people like her in the game so stronger people with more of a personality can latch on to them. When you need someone to vote with you, you need people with no morals, no personality, and no real obvious skills. Somebody who will fly under the radar. Enter Amber.
Overall, I wasn't impressed with the first show. Not giving them rice or beans? Okay. Not giving them fire to boil water? Inhumane! Isn't there some kind of law against putting people on an island and giving them nothing? Ha ha, those suckers signed a waver so they can't sue CBS after the show! Hey it's not me, so I'm gonna laugh at them. On second thought, it's not inhumane, it's good television! I'm still waiting for the cat fights and "diva" behavior that I was promised!
