Can anybody keep track of who's allied with whom? With six Survivors left, the wheeling and dealing got hot, heavy and extraordinarily complicated as Jon promised Darrah, who had some sort of deal with Lil, who's promised to Burton, who had a meeting of the minds with Christa, who's joined at the hip with Sandra.
Or something like that.
In the end, it was Christa who got the boot, for no good reason — and no bad reason, either. With just two more shows to go (next Thursday and the two-hour finale on Sunday, Dec. 14), it's wrapping up nicely, if a little too slowly. Our two outcasts are still in, and local Lil, from Deerfield Twp., is hanging strong.
The question on everyone's mind is how in the world do those Survivors not see through Jon, who lied about his grandmother's death and continues to invoke her spirit in the promises he makes and doesn't intend to keep. He's a player to be reckoned with, and his reckoning will come.
Tune in for the next Survivor: The Pearl Islands on Channel 7 at 8 p.m., on Thursday.
