Ulong's hungry, lazy Kim heads home

Last night's theme of Survivor Palau was building, and whether it was bonds or bathrooms, Koror and Ulong each had the opportunity to select tools that would help them in projects to come.

The tribes were also faced with choosing a leader. For Koror, the decision of Ian seemed too easy for Coby, as he felt like an underdog on his own team. Ulong members suggested drawing straws, but the consensus (as no one really had any answers) was James.

Excitement came with a visit from a boat fully equipped with a Home Depot tool shed, and news of the next reward challenge. The tribes had to build an outhouse and shower facility.

Supplies included lumber and six tools that tribes could keep for the rest of the competition, even if they lost.

The ultimate reward was what host Jeff Probst called "the most kick-ass Survivor shelter ever," as members of the Survivor's construction team would return to the island of the winning tribe and construct a shelter where they could live.

Weak Ulong member Kim voiced a need for more food amidst the work, making her team think she should be the next to go.

Each loo was judged for creativity and functionality, but it was easy to see Ulong's construction was not as thorough as Koror's and looked very unstable.

When the boat finally returned, it was on its way to Koror with a new shelter and a few bottles of champagne as a house-warming surprise.

The immunity challenge involved balance and strength as contestants used sumo techniques along with padded bags, where the first tribe to knock six people off a platform would receive the wooden statue symbolizing immunity. Koror comes out on top once again, as Coby pushes James into the water, winning them their fourth immunity challenge and forcing Ulong to head back to tribal council.

Back at Ulong, James reflects on being beaten by a homosexual "hair dresser" while Stephanie feels embarrassed that James lost it for the whole tribe.

Kim was confronted at tribal council by Probst about how accountable she was in terms of contributing to the tribe, but they agreed the women kept Ulong in the game.

When the votes were counted, it was Kim who headed home, while Ulong was asked to think about a "demoralizing" first 11 days. What will they do to reverse the course of events?

Catch Survivor Palau on Wednesday's at 8 p.m.
