Jenna Morasca, the recent winner of CBS' “Survivor” and soon-to-be Playboy covergirl, makes her Off-Broadway debut in Pieces (of Ass).
The work, which will play at Theatre 80 July 10-Aug. 3, will also star Trishelle Cannatella (MTV's "Real World"), Kirsten Buschbacher (ABC's "The Bachelor"), Carol Grow (FHM's "100 Most Beautiful Women") and Lori Heuring ("Mulholland Drive,” "The In-Crowd").
Conceived and directed by Brian Howie, Pieces (of Ass) features original monologues which center on the topic of being an attractive woman. The work delves into "the perks and the privileges to the problems and the pressures," as described in a release.
The cast includes Diahnna Nicole Baxter, Megan Brown, Tania Davison, Leigh Elliott, Sara Rae Gore, Rachel Hollon, Heidi Kristoffer, Jennifer Elle Lewis, Tami Mansfield, Ashley Palmer, Laurel Pinson and Samantha Ross. The special guest stars will perform as the “CenterPIECEs” for a few performances each.
The rotating schedule is as follows: Jenna Morasca, (July 27 and 29), Trishelle Cannatella (July 10-13), Kirsten Buschbacher (July 15-17), Carol Grow (July 25-27) and Lori Heuring (date TBA). More featured guests are to be announced.
The evening will also feature live female DJs, short films and cocktails to create a party atmosphere at the downtown Manhattan venue. New Scenario Entertainment produces.
Tickets to Pieces (of Ass) at Theatre 80, at 80 St. Mark’s Place (between First and Second Ave.), may be purchased by calling (212) 868-4444 or online at www.piecesofass.com.
