A scouting team for the producers of the hit American television show Survivor is expected in Palau, east of the Philippines, to look at possible locations for filming.
The Palau Government says the team also wants to discuss issues regarding the filming of the show, such as tax breaks and lower airfare costs for the participants and crew.
If the deal pushes through, a crew of close to 300 will head to Palau, with filming to begin in September.Survivor Palau would be shown next year with an expected audience of 26 million.
